Civitavecchia. On the Italian west coast a small group of believers continues to worship and study the Bible togther. Over the years we have kept in contact with this house church, and they invite us to come and bring Christian teaching and wider fellowship. The theme they chose this year involved Grace: "What May We Do to Respond to What God Has Done for Us?" Harold prepared a PowerPoint presentation describing the basic concepts of Grace. Because of the "dinner-table format" of the meeting, people were free to ask questions and offer comments. Enid displayed samples of our publications and the men choose Bible study textbooks and lesson materials they could use in their weekly Bible teaching. Our goal is to continue encouraging the faith and zeal of these small bands of Christians.

Velletri. Over 90 Christians gathered in Velletri from many parts of Italy to participate in the yearly spiritual feast prepared by the Viale Ionio Church of Christ in Rome. Held in a beautiful spiritual retreat center, this year's rally centered on the theme: "Meeting Jesus in the Gospel of Luke". Some of the most powerful and passionate preaching we've ever heard in Italy in over 40 years thrilled and challenged the audience. At the last minute (!), the planners invited Harold to bring a 10-minute devotion. Enid printed and sold over $90 of Bible study materials.

Brian and Heidi Rotert in language study. Another missionary family has moved to Italy to begin language studies at Perugia. They will be working with the Team Expansion group at Ancona. Pray with us for their language progress, that they may soon be sharing the Gospel in Italian.

Thanks for your encouraging love!
